"Konkani Manyata Divas" in commemoration of the inclusion of Konkani language in the Eigth Schedule of the Indian Constitution was celebrated in most of the konkani speaking regions. Mount Carmel Central school too gave due respect for this beautiful language. On this occasion various competitions were conducted and a beautiful culture programme was organised to create love and interest towards this language.
